  Today on 6-6-2017 at 5:30 pm was my first time in the Huntington location. I usually only go if I just don't deposit into my account because I have to pay or do something immediately and don't wanna wait for my bank to clear a check. I live in DC and would go to their location. Today was one of those situations where I wanted to quickly run in so my sister let me know there was one right next to my job. As I also work Customer Service on Huntington Ave. Lol. Not only was India rude as hell she was very unkempt in look and demenor and acted like I was blowing her day. I kindly let her know I had previously cashed checks at Ace and was not a new customer. She asked for my social and as I watched her type the wrong numbers in twice and then read the numbers back to me wrong I offered to write it down. She said no I just wasn't in the system. I asked her to try again because I didn't wanna pay the new members fee and the fee % they take out. She got irrate and was like oh I found you but I don't see any checks you have cashed. I asked how is that if I have an account. She went ahead to try and process my check and charged me damn near $5 for a $63 check. So I said nevermind and instead of her voiding it she held on to my ID and they check saying she was verifying it. I'm at this point like what the hell are you verifying if I told you nevermind​ due to the fee amount. She replies I have to call it in since you didn't wanna cash it. I said ok well you can do that but hand me back my ID. She told me no. I called my sister because she works at one of them in DC and she said that is not protocol and she would know she's a supervisor. Especially holding my ID. As soon as I got back to work I filed a complaint. She got the right one. Why get written up or more for being extra. Smh. Anyway that was my first and last time ever going there. People need to realize people do write letters and file complaints. Especially when I go above and beyond for my customers, I have no understanding for that type of ignorance.
